2/19 'Snow Date' Invoked for Annual Dinner
Good morning, Friends,
Due to the forecast for the middle of this week, our 2025 Annual Dinner and Meeting - previously scheduled for this Wednesday - will now be held next week, on Wednesday, 2/19.
With apologies to anyone who may not be able to make it next week, the very real possibility of dangerously icy conditions on the uneven brick sidewalks many would be traversing to get to the library on Wednesday evening is just too concerning. This change has been made because we want to make sure all of our Friends can make it safely!
All other details are the same:
Time: 6-8pm
Location: New Castle Public Library
Presenter: Eunice LaFate on ‘Folk Art & Culture,’ from DE Humanities
Light Dinner: Soups, Sandwiches and more provided by the Board
Beverages: Wine, Beer, Soft Drinks and Water provided
Member-Only Event but you can join or renew at the door
Please RSVP either by Email or on Facebook. If you previously RSVP’d, please either send us an update to confirm you got this and whether you’re still coming or - if you ‘registered’ on Facebook - take a moment to update your Response if needed.
Thank you for understanding - We hope to see you next week!
Sincerely,
New Castle Library Friends Board
